Big Crab with Oyster Sauce
Ingredients:
Crabs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine
1 onion, minced and diced
1 garlic, minced and diced
1 1/3 cups oyster sauce(any brand)
salt
pepper
How to cook:
1. Put a little opening at the mid section or back of the crabs. This is to make the broth tastier and to mix crab fats with the sauce later. this where the sauce will come out. Also the smell.
2. Cook crabs with water for 10 minutes. Set aside.
3. In a separate boiling pot, melt butter and saute garlic and onion (and chili, if you prefer).
4. Add oyster sauce. Transfer the boiled crabs including the broth from the other pot.
5. Cook until the crabs legs are orange enough. Cool for 5 minutes. Transfer crabs to a dish and evenly distribute the sauce.
6. Serve with steamed rice.
Note: I hope you have a crab leg cracker/scissor. You will be surprised by the yummier pieces inside the legs.
With the smell of the dishes alone, you pig out already alone. I love this dish. One of my favorite. Enjoy your meal.
